A Message from the Heart About Life Insurance

Updated: Mar 4

Before you even say it, yes, I’m an insurance agent who sells life insurance. However, like many of my readers, I’ve also been a daughter, wife, mother, sister, and friend.

Even if I were not in the insurance business, what I’ve experienced in my family and seen others go through would lead me to the same conclusion:

There is no doubt that everyone should have some life insurance.

Speaking from Personal Experience

There is nothing sadder than bereaved family members draining savings, taking loans, or setting up a GoFundMe campaign to put a loved one to rest.

Scraping together money in a time of grief is what another dear friend of mine and her family are going through right now. It breaks my heart.

Let’s face it. We are all going to leave this earth someday. That’s not an if; it’s a when. There will be bills to pay when you pass and financial responsibilities that somebody must handle. How will they be able to do that?

I hear so many of the same reasons to put off purchasing life insurance. I'm going to debunk a few of the most common reasons:

I don’t have time to purchase life insurance right now.

A life insurance application can take as little as thirty (30) minutes. You can do it over a lunch break.

I don’t know how much insurance to buy.

You don’t need a million-dollar policy to do right by your loved ones. A qualified life insurance professional will help you find a life insurance policy that fits your needs and budget.

I won’t qualify for any life insurance.

Are you concerned that you won't be able to get life insurance because of a pre-existing health condition? 99% of the applicants with health issues qualify for a guaranteed issue life insurance policy.

Life insurance is too expensive.

Inexpensive life insurance is out there. As a matter of fact, life insurance rates have gown down in the past few years. Knowing your options will take that fear away.

I’m too old (or too young) for life insurance.

Life insurance policies are available for most age groups, from 1-year-old children to adults age 85!

Protect Your Loved Ones

Please don’t set your loved ones up for an extra burden when you leave this earth. You don’t have to talk to me about life insurance , but speak to someone about life insurance soon!
